Our connection with Red Cork Bistro began in the most organic way: Andi spotted the restaurant and, out of curiosity, peeked inside. Even though it was closed, Chef Adrian was inside. He welcomed Andi in, gave her a tour, and shared his vision. That first interaction spoke volumes about his passion for his craft and the care he puts into his business. From that moment, we knew this was a restaurant we would love to work with (and become a frequent customer).

Before coming to us, the Red Cork Bistro team had lost access to their previous website, leaving them without an online presence. Unfortunately, this meant that anyone searching for them on Google would find nothing.
Despite this setback, the restaurant was still thriving, thanks to its strong reputation and loyal customer base. Word of mouth played a huge role in keeping business steady, and owner Adrian made sure every guest felt like part of the neighborhood. Regulars kept coming back, and the catering business continued to grow through personal recommendations.
Ruffled Feathers: Red Cork Bistro’s Pain Points
Red Cork Bistro’s previous website had the essentials, but even before the team lost access, there was an opportunity to make it more engaging and efficient. The images were dark and backlit, a stark contrast to the restaurant’s warm and lively atmosphere, leaving site visitors without a true sense of what to expect when dining at the restaurant.
Beyond aesthetics, the site was not functioning in a way that made life easier for the team or their customers. The catering request process was time-consuming and inefficient. People would submit a form expressing interest, but Adrian would need to manually respond with pricing, menu details, and additional information. It created extra work and unnecessary back-and-forth.
The menu was also a challenge. It had always been a downloadable PDF, which was not ideal for customers — or for search engines. Many diners found it inconvenient to download a file just to view the menu, especially when browsing on their phones. More importantly, Google can’t read a PDF, leaving valuable opportunities for SEO untouched.
Overall, the site was not helping the business run smoothly or showcasing what made Red Cork Bistro special, and Adrian was ready for a fresh start.

We set our efforts on creating a website for Red Cork Bistro that feels as warm and inviting as the restaurant itself. Adrian has built something special, where every meal is made from scratch and customers return not just for the food but for the experience. Our goal was to bring that feeling to life online, illuminating what sets RCB apart.
We focused on showcasing the scratch-made dishes, strong family values, and the idea of “approachable fine dining,” a phrase Adrian used that perfectly captures Red Cork Bistro’s blend of quality and comfort.
Beyond telling the owners’ story, we wanted to make things easy for their customers. We focused on creating a space where people could quickly explore the menu, book a table, and get a real feel for the restaurant before ever stepping inside. Every decision we made supported our primary focus: Give Red Cork Bistro a website that’s authentic to the restaurant’s unique dining experience and helps the business continue to grow.

One of the biggest improvements we made for Red Cork Bistro was streamlining their reservation system. Before our website design, customers would submit a request, but the team had to manually call each person on the phone to confirm, adding unnecessary steps and extra work for the staff and diners. We knew we could build a better way.
We redesigned the process so that reservation requests still came through, but instead of requiring a phone call, the team can now confirm bookings with a simple email reply. The new process also allowed guests to include special requests, such as celebrating a special occasion or dietary preferences, making it easier for the restaurant to personalize each dining experience.
